My teaching springs from the very precise Iyengar system, as taught by Ruth White, and has gone on to be greatly influenced by the study of functional movement, the work of Katy Bowman, Ido Portal, Jules Mitchell, Jill Miller, Vanda Scaravelli, Peter Blackaby and Anna Ashby, as well as the Feldenkrais method, rock climbing and various dance methods.
I offer private, public and corporate Hatha yoga sessions for all levels. My classes combine an appreciation for alignment with a real love of movement and include more restorative practices where appropriate.
My training includes Ruth White's Karuna Yoga Teacher Training Diploma; (RYS 500 hours, 2007- 09) and the Restorative Yoga Certification taught by Anna Ashby and Chris Swain. I am forever grateful to my teachers for showing me how to overcome self-imposed obstacles and know myself better. I pass their expertise on to each of my students.
Private sessions can be taken in your own home, or via private Skype sessions. To book, just drop me an email and I will get back to you as soon as possible with availability.
I hold regular small group beginners courses.
The course typically runs over 4 weeks and is limited to a maximum of ten students to ensure that you receive a high level of personal attention in developing your yoga practice. It is perfect for beginners and suitable for anyone looking to revisit the fundamentals of yoga.

Soul Food SUNDAYs
***Soul food Sundays have found a new home!***
I now invite you to come and celebrate your difference and otherness EVERY Sunday evening at The Conscious Club, with some restorative yoga. This weekly class includes 75 mins of fully supported passive stretching and blissful breath work meditation, which allows for the release of tension and stress helping your mind and body to rest deeply and completely. Think of it as a ‘re-set’ button for your parasympathetic nervous system and your overworked brain!
You will leave feeling renewed, soft and ready to face the world again. Sunday school never felt so good!
The sessions are open to EVERYBODY, that's everyone with a body.
MAKE AND MOVE
I offer private and public movement and art workshops and retreats across the UK. For upcoming events please see the calendar below (or my events page for more detail).
I curate a blog called Move Me. In it, I invite others to participate in an evolving survey designed to prompt people to think more deeply about their bodies in terms of movement choices, habits and patterns.
It is about commonality, the one thing we all have in common is that we have to move to live. I hope the stories shared resonate and inspire. I use this research in my art practice and to aid my teaching. If you would like to be involved (everyone is welcome!) then please visit the blog to sign up.
