On Tuesday 13th December we are turning my regular 'strength and surrender' hour long class into a donation class for Studio 191's '20 Days Of Kindness'. Join me for a guide to squatting in exchange for some winter woollies...I'll let the wonderful Studio 191 fill you in below...

As we approach the end of the year, we at Studio 191 feel blessed for all the abundance we have in our lives. So we decided to share our gratitude with “20 Days of Kindness”, a local community support initiative to make someone else’s day a little brighter. Starting from December we will colllect + donate everything from hygiene items to warm clothing, money and dry food for organizations like Amsterdam’s FoodBank, Homeless shelter and Pet shelter.

If you’ve spent time at the studio recently, you may have joined Rachel for one of her interesting, unique and experiential yoga practices. Rachel is full of knowledge and inspiration - so if you’re looking to delve crazy deep into juicy yogic goodness then her class definitely won’t let you down!

In today’s class, prepare to get way down low in this special practice made for squatters (yup...quite literally) and in support of those struggling to find a safe, warm space to squat (sleep) at night.

You guessed it, today we are going to focus on your ‘resting squat’ ~ something that your pelvic floor, hip, knee and ankle health require. We’ll let your body take up the space that it needs to prepare your joints, get solid and feel rooted ~ so when you have to leap, you’ll know exactly how you are going to land.

Don’t forget the Kindness...
We’ll be collecting hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters and other winter woolies for Amsterdam’s Homeless Shelter via our local AMOC.
Please bring a 2 or 3 items from the below list of winter woolies as your entrance ticket for this class.
