Escape to the rolling landscape of North Norfolk for time out from the day to day and be inspired by the eco education centre that is our Norfolk yoga retreat. Originally a family home, the entire property has been converted into an eco education centre, to help re-invigorate the local area with jobs, a sense of community and locality and thus a new heart centre.

The venue is nestled in 21 acres of rolling Norfolk breckland, which houses a meandering river, a swimming lake, an outdoor swimming pool, lazy meadows, woodland, sculpted Victorian gardens, vegetable patches and a clutch of old heritage farm buildings on offer for you to come and stay in and enjoy.

Norfolk is a silver and Gold Buddha rating with new courtyard en-suite twin or doubles or cosy  twin or double cottages.

How it works

On different retreats we will use 1 or all of these room options, making the retreats potentially go up to 34 guests.  When this is the case we have 2 yoga classes running simultaneously in the village hall or the barn and then we all dine together in the barn.  Read below more about the room options.

Gold Buddha accommodation: The courtyard rooms

These luxury en-suite rooms combine rustic charm with funky modern twists. Nestled in courtyard formation around the Barn which is the yoga space, dining and chill out space when we use these gold buddha rooms. The barn has under floor heating throughout, wood burners and big cosy sofas in a living space to relax into.

Some of the bedrooms have special clay plaster with extracts of mica in it to create a sparkling effect all over the wall and a healthy breathability to the room. Others have the original brick and lime walls in them. Reclaimed wood and original farm doors have been used along side the original timber beams to add splashes of colour and authenticity to the rooms. Each bedroom has original artworks by renowned artist Oliver Barnett. Giving each room a unique interpretation of a natural scene creating a perfect harmonious colour balance with the handmade curtains and cushions. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms have under floor heating. They also have super comfortable, extra thick sprung mattresses and high quality cotton linen.

Price: £475pp for 3 nights

Silver Buddha accommodation: The village hall and cottages

The cottages are heritage cowsheds beautifully converted into accommodation and we have 2 cottages, Arch and Hall cottage. Both sleep 6 in 3 twin or double rooms, both have a kitchen and shared bathroom.  When we use these cosy, comfortable cottages we also use the village hall as the yoga space and dining area which is a lovely light open space with big wood burner.
