Deep Restorative Sessions - Gravity As An Asset

Join me for the third session in this 4-part in-depth, practical approach to restorative yoga that incorporates biomechanics, neural responses and somatics. You will learn to read the story your body tells, assess specific needs based on tissue quality, play with the art of breathing to help calm your nervous system, learn simple meditation techniques and cultivate your intuition.

This course includes extensive demonstrations, plenty of hands-on practice, discussion, and collaboration.

This is perfect opportunity if you are ready to deepen your yoga practice, if you need some support around anxiety and stress in your life, or if you simply like to take you rest seriously!

GRAVITY AS AND ASSET

This session will focus on ways we feel our bodyweight. as that’s how we feel gravity, and learning how to co-ordinate ‘bone rhythm’ to optimise the effects of gravity on daily life. Wherever we go, whatever we do – it’s always there. But it doesn’t just pull us down like so many would insist. It does so much more….

Deep Restorative Session - Your Story

Join me for the final session in this 4-part in-depth, practical approach to restorative yoga that incorporates biomechanics, neural responses and somatics.

YOUR STORY AND ACCEPTANCE

The anatomy, the soma, shapes itself around the things we do, not the other way around. I believe that a whole persons lived experience is tied into how we move and that our movement habits will be dictated by the kind of world we have met and the kind of support, or lack of, we feel we have had. With this in mind all yoga postures are there to help us notice how we are as we act and we can use the practice to change from working/feeling/responding from our own histories to creating new, more helpful patterns, which ultimately
gives us choice.

In this sessions we will cultivate ways of working with your own narrative, which is essential. That is where solutions are. YOUR solutions.

Deep Restorative Sessions - Casts in Movement

Join me for the second in this 4-part in-depth, practical approach to restorative yoga that incorporates biomechanics, neural responses and somatics. You will learn to read the story your body tells, assess specific needs based on tissue quality, play with the art of breathing to help calm your nervous system, learn simple meditation techniques and cultivate your intuition.

CASTS IN MOVEMENT

While you, like me, may be attempting to optimize your physical body, there are things we do every day that take our structure away from well-being. We do these things because they are practical or because everyone did them before we got here and we assume their safety has been vetted, that the effects are well-understood. However, these items are loading our body–not for the better–almost all day long of almost every day of our lives. Meaning we are shaped much more by these cultural objects than we are to our favourite movement pastime. We’ll use this session to decode and and ‘un-cast’ ourselves, which can be take into everyday life.

Deep Restorative Sessions - Letting Go Of Tension

Join me for the first in this 4-part in-depth, practical approach to restorative yoga that incorporates biomechanics, neural responses and somatics. You will learn to read the story your body tells, assess specific needs based on tissue quality, play with the art of breathing to help calm your nervous system, learn simple meditation techniques and cultivate your intuition.

LETTING GO OF TENSION

Tension = unnecessary effort put into an action.
Learning how to relax and release tension in the body is a higher order skill then learning how to put necessary action into a muscle. Both are important, ofcourse, but when it comes to learning how to undo long held postural patterns it helps to understand when you are putting in unnecessary effort.

Donation Class

On Tuesday 13th December we are turning my regular 'strength and surrender' hour long class into a donation class for Studio 191's '20 Days Of Kindness'. Join me for a guide to squatting in exchange for some winter woollies...I'll let the wonderful Studio 191 fill you in below...

As we approach the end of the year, we at Studio 191 feel blessed for all the abundance we have in our lives. So we decided to share our gratitude with “20 Days of Kindness”, a local community support initiative to make someone else’s day a little brighter. Starting from December we will colllect + donate everything from hygiene items to warm clothing, money and dry food for organizations like Amsterdam’s FoodBank, Homeless shelter and Pet shelter.

If you’ve spent time at the studio recently, you may have joined Rachel for one of her interesting, unique and experiential yoga practices. Rachel is full of knowledge and inspiration - so if you’re looking to delve crazy deep into juicy yogic goodness then her class definitely won’t let you down!

In today’s class, prepare to get way down low in this special practice made for squatters (yup...quite literally) and in support of those struggling to find a safe, warm space to squat (sleep) at night.

You guessed it, today we are going to focus on your ‘resting squat’ ~ something that your pelvic floor, hip, knee and ankle health require. We’ll let your body take up the space that it needs to prepare your joints, get solid and feel rooted ~ so when you have to leap, you’ll know exactly how you are going to land.

Don’t forget the Kindness...
We’ll be collecting hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters and other winter woolies for Amsterdam’s Homeless Shelter via our local AMOC.
Please bring a 2 or 3 items from the below list of winter woolies as your entrance ticket for this class.

Winter Woolies
{items should be in decent condition; functional}
hats
scarves
gloves
thick, warm socks
jumpers/sweaters
warm winter coats

* men’s items are hugely appreciated and greatly needed

Villa Lena Retreat

We have planned a magical four days of yoga, sound healing and art workshops to nourish and uplift you so that you leave Tuscany feeling rejuvenated and inspired.

Sprawling over 500 hectares of stunning woodland, rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards, Villa Lena is an organic, agricultural estate with a farm to table restaurant, and an ever- changing, seasonal, Italian menu curated by the international chef in residency. The villa also has ten internationally established or emerging artists in residence who are hosting workshops and sharing insights into their work.

We are bringing some of our favourite teachers and healers from London and working with the wonderful Villa Lena team of artists, chefs and producers to create a completely unique programme. Yoga, meditation and sound will take you deeper into yourself, so that you can connect with the luscious landscape and tune back into your natural rhythms.

what's included?

Guest accommodation is in comfortable rustic apartments in the estate, the artists reside in the main villa.

Delicious, seasonal Italian feasts. Brunch and supper are included in the and are cooked by chef in residence, Alexis Delany. Each meal is vegetarian and will use fresh produce from the Villa Lena farm.

A full programme of yoga classes from a selection of London’s most cherished teachers. Whether you are completely new to yoga or have a really strong asana practise, someone will be perfect for what you are looking for.

Enjoy gong sessions and sound healing cacao ceremonies; sound healing is the intentional use of sound to create a space to facilitate healing in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels of our being.

A ritualistic full moon ceremony will take place with live music.

There will also be a programme of workshops from Villa Lena artists in residency.

Yoga teachers

katarina rayburn

Having initially graduated with a Physics degree Katarina then trained as an actress in London, it was at this time that she realised how invaluable yoga was in keeping her physically and mentally on point.

Discovering the strong and very yang style of Rocket yoga in London was the practice that got her hooked. She credits practicing ballet for over 10 years as bringing a graceful element to her yoga.

Katarina went to the Andaman Islands in India and explored the lighter practice of Sivananda yoga. She returned to India a year later to complete her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Rocket with The Yoga People, who themselves were taught by Larry Schultz the pioneer of Rocket yoga.  She then went on to complete her 100hr advanced Rocket teacher training in Thailand with them.

She practices a mixture of Dynamic vinyasa as well as Dharma Yoga, which she takes influences from in her classes.

Katarina had just returned from India after completing another 100 hrs of advanced teacher training in Mandala and Shamanism with The Yoga People.

Katarina is a 300hr, Yoga Alliance approved, Registered Yoga Teacher.

leila sadeghee

Leila started her adult life in the bosom of the London art world in the 90’s. Moving to London at barely 19, she followed her passion to work with contemporary artists with characteristic strong intention, immersed herself in the international art scene, and got her degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art. By 1998 she was working with several cutting edge galleries when she woke up one morning and realised, out of the blue, that she needed to change her life.

So began her life of meditation, yoga, and the healing arts that took her from studying Buddhism in India, to the Omega Institute where she studied with Pema Chodron, to New York City where she became the protege of visionary body therapist Yamuna Zake, to training as an energy healer, and ultimately becoming a teacher of yoga asana. She has been a practicing healer and teacher for nearly 15 years, and she underpins her continual evolution with deep study and mentorship with Tara Judelle, Sianna Sherman, the Tantric scholar and meditation teacher Paul Muller-Ortega, the master teacher Adyashanti, and the intuitive Holly Stars.

Leila is a truly creative soul and a gifted healer who has a keen sense of life as a transformational process of empowerment. Her years of experience with the body lend her a bio-mechanical savvy that keeps it real and practical. She knows what it means to break down and to break through, so she is a skilled and supportive guide for people who want to use the practices of yoga and healing to create transformation at every level of life. Leila has worked with people from all walks of life and all ages. Her classes, courses, and trainings are focused on supporting people in awakening to the mystery of who they truly are so they can live a life of joy, freedom, and dedication to their own highest calling.

rachel johnston

Rachel lives and works in Amsterdam and London. She is an artist and teaches yoga in various studios, living rooms, parks and spaces across both cities.

Rachel's own yoga and art practice has taught her that when we bring our whole being into each moment, we have the infinite potential to heal, create, love, and be at peace. It's Rachel's work to help people find this place through movement, making, courageous self-love and self- care.

Our bodies represent the life we have lived so far; a map of our personal history. It is through our choices of movement, day and night, and the cellular loads these choices create that our bodies become our autobiography.  Rachel teaches and practices yoga because it provides a useful tool to view the way we move and feel and to change the patterns we find that are no longer useful. It is her aim to give people a tool for self-enquiry and greater self-acceptance.

These aims are based on exploring personal freedom and the willingness and ability to engage with others with curiosity and compassion. Rachel presupposes no deity, follow no guru or approved “system" and engage gladly with any relevant material - past or present - that serves this practice. She has been practicing and teaching yoga this way in recent years, basing my work on sound biomechanical principles.

lani rocillo

Lani Rocillo is trained in sound therapy, energy healing and shamanic practice.  Exploration into healing sounds has lead her to travel the world, receiving guidance from masters of sound and energy medicine, connecting with ancient wisdom of sacred sites and collaborating in various art/music projects. She merges framework with intuition in bringing through the vast potential of sound as medium to expand consciousness and to realise balance and harmony into being.

Lani works with vocal toning, spirit language, alchemy crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, himalayan singing bowls and various percussive instruments.

artists

Artists this year include:

JAMES DAVIDSON is a London based illustrator who collaborates regularly with artists and fashion designers. He is well known backstage during fashion week and is known for documenting ‘live sketching’ backstage scenes, make up looks and the clothes themselves. His work borrows from comic books, pop culture and queer iconography. James’s aesthetic is a marriage of traditional and digital drawing methods.

ZUZANA HLIVAROVA is a ceramicist who chose to work in this field because of instinctual connection to the material. Through repetition and observation she explores simple forms while playing with archetypal symbols. She likes to work with her hands, and her process is guided intuitively when she lays her hands on a block of clay.

MONICA KHEMSUROV & KRISTIN BARRON Journalist and Visual artist Monica founded online journal SightUnseen (90k Instagram followers) and also works as a curator and art director for spaces. Their approach puts emphasis on innovative use of materials and on making things. At Villa Lena they would like to collaborate on a site specifc project, which would be a metaphor for friendship.

ALEXIS GEORGOPOLOUS New York based music composer, producer and DJ. Alexis’ approach is very much determined by context, project by project. Sometimes working alone – as both a composer and songwriter – and also frequently in collaboration, taking cues from the project and co collaborator. Collaborations with visual artists include Tauba Auerbach, on a music installation to accompany one of her sculptures.

LEWIS LAZAR musician and painter. As a musician he has written, recorded and self produced multiple albums and is set to release his first with his band ‘The Hydras’ entitled ‘Razmatazz’ later this year in Japan and Europe. He has also worked on a project called ‘Summer Moon’ with Nikolai Fraiture of the Strokes, also set to release an album later this year. As a painter he has exhibited in New York, Nicaragua and London. He works in oils, watercolors, copper plate prints, photography and ceramics

villa lena

The charm of Villa Lena is that it’s beautiful, mysterious and expansive. Their holistic approach to hospitality is akin to ours. The villa has a lot more to it than aesthetics; there’s the history of the home itself and the families who lived then left, and the secrets of the artists, what they do and where they disappear to in the day. The whole community is made up of interesting characters. We chatted to a charming wine producer who no longer drinks and had our tarot cards read by an artist who was taught by his gypsy grandmother. The staff are super friendly and talk to you as if you have been there forever, and after a few days, it feels like you have. If you are partial to a ghost story; in the forties, there was an unsolved murder that led the inhabitants of the local village to desert. A young girl was killed, and to this day, invisible people artfully place fresh flowers on her roadside memorial.

In the mornings we practised yoga on the terrace with quintessential Tuscan views. The rest of the day was spent roaming round the grounds, discovering olive groves, different pools, piglets and artist’s studios. A short walk up the road, we found the ruins of Toiano, with a handful of residents who bring water up the hill, by hand, every day. The crumbling houses look out onto striking, panoramic views. Evenings, everyone was reunited for delicious supper on the terrace and each person we spoke to brought a fresh revelation about the little enigmas that had piqued our curiosity throughout the day. In short, I fell in love with the place and I am very excited to share it with you.

Variation Is Key

"WE ARE ALL THE SAME, YET EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT"

WHAT?
A workshop focused on learning to leave the beaten
(asana) path.

WHO?
Everyone welcome

WANT TO KNOW MORE?
It is very easy to fall into a routine when it comes to
asana practice, or indeed any movement practice, and work
through the same comfortable sequence time and time
again. Although you could argue that repetitive exercise
is better than doing nothing at all, you might be doing
yourself a disservice as the body is shaped by what you
encounter most frequently.

Join Rachel to investigate why variation in movement is
the key to good movement. Learn ways to allow your
practice to become an infinite expression of variations
and options, both on and off the mat. Together we will
work our way through a sequence that maps movement
patterns and explores unique ranges of motion in
classical yoga poses. This will challenge your motor
skills and improve your strength with greater ranges of
motion. There will be time to include experimentation
within your sequence as well as reflection at the end of
our time together.

Hello, It's me...

Dear Long -Forgotten Friend,

It is with phenomenal happiness, counterweighted by an appropriate volume of proportional sadness, that I would like to announce I'M BACK! I touched down last week and am now breathing in sweet fog laced London air. It's good to be home.

Miss America was good to us. After having our brains rinsed at Yale University for a term we pressed the re-set button with an epic road trip. We sped down the Pacific Coast Highway from San Fransisco to LA and then across a good chunk of Route 66 through California, Arizona and New Mexico, with a detour to Boulder Colorado, New Orleans and Florida. It was bliss; time stood still, I made prints, polaroids and pots, spent time really getting to know the man I am betrothed to (the wedding is still on), visited inspiring places, rediscovered my dancing shoes, made new friends, became a pronunciation snob and filled my excess luggage with precious stones and voodoo candles from enchanted parts of Turtle Island for folks back home.

I am sad to be done with this epic adventure, breaking up is always hard to do, BUT we are relocating to Amsterdam in February so I have a brilliant rebound lined up.

So, without further ado, put the kettle on, move from sitting to squatting and scroll on down for a list of goings on, wheres, hows and whys...

** RESOLUTIONS ****
********

“Do I contradict myself? Very well, then, I contradict myself; I am large -- I contain multitudes.”
― Walt Whitman

So, a little behind with the whole new years resolution thing, but not because I'm to cool for school to make them. On the contrary, I bloody love imagining I'm capable of inhuman shifts in habit and I don't much care that the actual change is usually minuscule. I think of setting new years intentions like knowing in your skin what you can’t yet think in your brain and, since I am all for trusting those kind of feelings, I make many.

If you are also a sucker for resolutions, and you don't mind suggestions, then I have a movement focused one for you. It's something I spent last year trying, sometimes succeeding in, sometimes not doing at all (in no particular order) and to my delight some of these quirky little imaginings have become well rounded useful habits that help me day-to-day.

Each week (not accounting for lack of Internet connection, sickness and laziness) I will post to FACEBOOK and MY BLOG a simple way to introduce a different movement nutrient into your daily life. I've gathered these from many places and will always credit my source where necessary, because it's the right thing to do, but also so that you can go and do your own research (if you so desire...and I wholeheartedly recommend that you do desire that kind of thing). The first one is up so check it out here, it involves feet.

*******
**
** Recommendations ****
********

More important, perhaps, then all I have to offer you are my recommendations for the month. The first is so good it really deserves it's own newsletter...

It is Joanne Avison's new book Yoga; Fascia, Anatomy and Movement. It is a must read you like the idea of making sense of anatomy in movement. I cannot recommend it highly enough. In it Joanne presents a brilliantly written, scientifically based, creative way of approaching your yoga practice, which maybe, just maybe, will change the way you approach this complex art. It is so full of ideas it will make your brain zing. Truly a beautiful thing.

If you don't trust me, and I don't really see why you should, then how about listening about it from the lady herself over at Liberated Body, as I have three times already.

This interview with Patti Smith. She's so great.

Also, magic. How did I live my life without it? I'll never know
Enjoy.

***********

I could say more, I inherited this verbal diarrhoea from my mother, but I won't. THANK YOU my friend and enjoy the rest of your evening. I leave you with this; a picture of Mr Stardust, a song and a quote to help you on your way....

You can stand up now.

Yours with love forever,

There's something I need to tell you, I think you ought to know...

AU REVOIR ****
********

Yep, the rumors are true. I am devastated to inform you that my much beloved teaching practice, this tiny epic of mixed up movement, will soon be no more...for the time being anyway...as I am of to new worlds to seek some slowness, some new ways of moving, some adventures, to gather some stories and to get married.
First stop The United States of ALL-You-Can-Eat. Oh yes. Tips about your State-side trips most welcome!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to YOU dearest reader, for showing up in your hordes for the last 7 years of toe-tapping yoga musings. Together we’ve crammed the archaic doorways of church halls, stinky basements, grand houses, swanky custom built centers, parks, beaches, living rooms and tea-stained cafeterias in celebration of this ancient art and in search of what it is to simply be. Thank you for listening, thank you for questioning, thank you for putting up with my inability to tell left from right, but most of all THANK YOU for allowing me to guide you.

Without you, nothing. With you, EVERYTHING.

********

My final class will be Thursday 9th July so, from now until then and in celebration of this momentous scarpering, I shall host a glorious last few sessions, far removed from the ridiculous rain and unseasonal no sun show of daily downtown London. I invite you to step inside my soon to be no-longer homes at Triyoga and SFC where i shall serenade you with my West Midland flat vowels, various movement puzzles, giggles, and some farewell chocolate brownies. It will be somewhat reminiscent of a pub evening during Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee in 1977. I imagine that was a BLAST.

Information about the glorious souls that will be taking my place to follow, I promise, I am just finalising the details for a perfectly smooth transition. You’ll not even notice I’ve gone…

********
**
** PEN-PALS ****
********

However, this is not the end; I will be teaching again, you still MOVE ME and my online presence will be alive and kicking. I shall continue to post scribblings and asides on my blogs here and here, upload movement musings on my facehooked page and twitter feed here and here and the curation of wwww.what-moves-me.com is a forever thing. I’ve been completely overwhelmed with responses to this project so far, MERCI MERCI, but if you haven’t yet had a nosy then please take a look.

Do keep in-touch, I’d love to hear about all your adventures, and if I do return y’all will be the first to know about my new happenings.

Finally, before I schlep these legs across the pond, my eyes wet with salty tears and my ears ringing with the sound of Jacques Brel, I want to say the most heartfelt thank you to all the many staff members, volunteers, part-timers, full-timers, co-workers and by-standers who have dripped sweat into the shores of this infamous lagoon. You’ve been dreamy to work with.

And with that, farewell.
(until the next time I fill your inbox with nonsense)

--Dr Andreo Spina

Learn the art of adapting these movements to your body with the tools of alignment, gain strength and stability in your joints and help your connective tissue and muscles adapt to help your arm balances soar.

We will will explore downward facing dog, handstands, and crow variations.

What? A two hour workshop focused on learning to leave the beaten (asana) path.

Where? triyoga Chelsea

"WE ARE ALL THE SAME, YET EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT."

It is very easy to fall into a routine when it comes to asana practice and practice the same comfortable sequence time and time again. Although you could argue that repetitive exercise is better than doing nothing at all, you might be doing yourself a disservice as the body is shaped by what you encounter most frequently.

Join Rachel to investigate why variation in movement is the key to good movement. Learn ways to allow your practice to become an infinite expression of variations and options, both on and off the mat. Together we will work our way through a sequence that maps movement patterns and explores unique ranges of motion in classical yoga poses. This will challenge your motor skills and improve your strength with greater ranges of motion. There will be time to include experimentation within your sequence as well as reflection at the end of our time together.

Please book by clicking here (you will be taken through to the Triyoga bookings page)

Where? Triyoga Chelsea

Who? Everyone welcome

“After a couple of years, sitting still in your chair would be your most-practiced skill, trumping time spent reading, writing, playing games, and physical education in school. Like a ninja of sitting, you practiced sitting still in a chair more than any other activity, with hours and hours in training, with no other learned activity even coming close in time spent practicing.”

-Katy Bowman in "Move Your DNA"

Does your day to day life involve more sitting in chairs than any other activity? If you answered ‘YES!’, then join Rachel to create your own lunch box of asana to help bring balance and remedy into your life and start undoing some of that desk time.

The workshop will flow through sequences designed to gently undo the postural patterns and adaptations caused by chair and screen time, all packaged and sealed with a guided relaxation. There will be a chance to ask questions and you will be able to take away a printed sequence to continue this ‘undoing’ at home – and at your desk!

Built in 1908 in striking sandstone, it stands grandly at the end of a long drive flanked with lime trees. It’s a world away from the everyday, and is a place that will leave you feeling relaxed and positive.

Historically, the house was used during the Second World War to help in the effort to break the Enigma code. Over 10, 000 people were involved in this work, as each day the code had to be broken anew, creating a sense of community and support. Today it is a family home, a wedding venue and now a yoga retreat venue, and so continues to bring people together.

It was bought in 1979 by the same family who own it now who have carefully restored the house and manicured its beautiful gardens to its present glory. The retreat is very private and the yoga studio looks out onto the terrace, gardens and extensive countryside. The rooms are sumptuously decorated to a very high standard. It is the perfect place to relax, switch off, and feel that you are being looked after for a relaxing and revitalising weekend yoga break.

The dining room is light and airy with fabulous views of the grounds. There are fascinating paintings and fresh flowers everywhere.

Squatting Rehab

Where? The Sunflower Centre

When? 13.09.2014 14:30 - 16:30

Who? everyone is welcome

****

“It’s a basic act of humanity, of movement, of utility. To squat is to be.”

Are you are serious about your mobility: your hip; knee; ankle; pelvic floor health; and improving your digestion, elimination and more - then you should take your RESTING squat seriously.

Just as we should eat the foods our bodies were designed to eat, we should move our bodies the way they were meant to move. Our hips flex, knees bend and our ankles dorsi-flex so that we can rest comfortably in a squat position. So fundamental is squatting that we should regard it as a daily dose of fish oil for our freedom of movement.

This workshop will help us to be more nuanced in our understanding of what is required for a full resting squat, "oiling" our practice, and will be limited to 8 people.

Together we will:
• prepare and mobilise the spine, hips, ankles and knees and many different muscle groups along the way
• play with some of the asana that evolve beautifully from a resting squat
• leave the workshop with individual things to work on and a challenge to keep squatting part of your day.

If this is something for you send me an email (hello@rachel-and-yoga.com)

(image of my Grandma in a loaded resting squat. She was one mighty strong and mobile lady. We are going to take a leaf out of her book...)

The retreat is very private and the yoga studio looks out onto the terrace, gardens and extensive countryside. The rooms are sumptuously decorated to a very high standard. It is the perfect place to relax, switch off, and feel that you are being looked after for a relaxing and revitalising weekend yoga break.

Accommodation

The rooms have a sumptuous, classic feel so you will feel spoilt yet it also feels homely so you can completely relax and switch off. They are all spacious, luxuriously decorated in amazing fabrics and have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The house has a huge welcoming lounge with cosy sofas and an open fire. The dining room is light and airy with fabulous views of the grounds. There are fascinating paintings and fresh flowers everywhere.

There’s a choice of 9 rooms which are either twins or doubles. The house has stayed true to its origins so all the bathrooms are outside the bedrooms.

Squatting Rehab

Where? Triyoga Chelsea

When? 01.08.2014 19:30 - 20:30

Who? everyone is welcome

£25

This workshop will help us to be more nuanced in our understanding of what is required for a full resting squat, "oiling" our practice.

Together we will:

• prepare and mobilise the spine, hips, ankles and knees and many different muscle groups along the way
• play with some of the asana that evolve beautifully from a resting squat
• leave the workshop with individual things to work on and a challenge to keep squatting part of your day.

If this is something for you click HERE to book.

(image of my Grandma in a loaded resting squat. She was one mighty strong and mobile lady. We are going to take a leaf out of her book...)
